How will we cater for your dog’s needs and preferences?
At Domestic Doggess, we warmly invite you and your furry companion to take a guided tour of our exceptional facility. During your visit, you’ll get a firsthand look at the wide range of activities and spacious play areas we offer, while also meeting our experienced and dedicated team.
We understand that every dog has their own unique personality, likes, and dislikes. That’s why this initial appointment is so important — it helps us discover what makes your dog’s tail wag! We take the time to match each dog with the most suitable playgroup based on their size, temperament, and play style.
Each dog in our care is treated as an individual, with attention given to their specific needs and preferences. If you have more than one dog, we’re happy to welcome them together — but rest assured, we always tailor our care to each dog individually.
After your visit, you’ll need to register your dog through our online portal and schedule a trial session so we can complete a full assessment and ensure they’re placed in the perfect environment.
What dog daycare activities do we run?
Below is an outline of the daily activities we provide to ensure every dog enjoys a stimulating and enriching experience.
DAY-TO-DAY ROUTINE
- Arrivals at Daycare
Each day at Domestic Doggess begins with drop-off and check-in, as our excited pups arrive ready for a fun-filled adventure! Coats and hats are tucked away, lunches are safely stored, and then it’s off to the secure garden to reunite with their furry friends.
- Supervised play and free running
Our dogs enjoy plenty of time to run, play, and burn off energy with their pals. Whether it’s chasing balls, dashing through tunnels, leaping for toys, or navigating the castle-style climbing frame and slide — there’s never a dull moment! They might even claim their throne as ‘King of the Castle’ atop our pallet play area. All activities are closely supervised by our trained and attentive staff to ensure safe, happy play for everyone.
- Enrichment Activities
During this time, dogs are encouraged to engage in low-impact agility exercises, enjoy snuffle mats, Kongs, and puzzle toys, and participate in gentle, reward-based training activities — all designed to stimulate their minds and reinforce positive behaviors.
- Rest and Relaxation
During rest time, dogs can choose from a variety of cozy beds and sofas, indoors or out, to relax either on their own or alongside their new daycare friends. For those who enjoy extra attention, plenty of gentle human interaction is available. Lunchtime meals are also provided during this calm and comforting part of the day.
- Health, grooming & welfare checks
Our staff dedicate one-on-one time with each dog for a basic grooming session, which includes gentle nose-to-tail checks and plenty of comforting cuddles along the way.
- Homeward bound/collections
Home time! Dogs are either picked up by their owners or safely transported home in one of our fully equipped MuttMobiles, ready to share all the fun they’ve had during their day at daycare. If needed, our staff will also share any relevant observations or updates from the day to keep you informed about your dog’s experience.
